OSG makes presentation on effective archive management at INFODOCUM 2011

INFODOCUM 2011, the Professional Forum for Effective archive management was held on 8 and 9 December 2011. The event was attended by 236 representatives from all levels of legislative and executive bodies, leaders of records management organizations and archivists from key enterprises of industry including energy, oil and gas, banking and university education.

A tradition of INFODOCUM is presentations of the most successful projects on document workflow and archive management. Representatives of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia, Government of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Archival Science and Records Management Research Institute (VNIIDAD) briefed the participants on new implementation of standards and measures, as well as future legislative acts that will regulate the professional documentation and information management.

OSG / Gazprombank / MTS masterclass

A key ingredient to the success of the conference was a joint masterclass on how to plan offsite document storage. This was made by OSG’s Director of Operations Alexey Rykov, in association with N.A Khratsovskaya and T.N. Nazarova of leading bank Gazprombank, and N.V. Katchko of telecom giants MTC. Delegates were shown new developments and solutions that use cutting edge technology and innovation. Alexey Rykov is a member of the Central Commission for Inspection and Verification at the Federal Archival Agency. And OSG Records Management is a member of the Records Managers’ Guild.
